Massage for Injury Prevention! “Prevention is better than cure”

This statement takes me straight back to my deputy head teacher at Primary School, Mr Sheehan who always used to bang on about ‘prevention is better than cure’ for everything!! But I tell you it has stuck with me as a damn good saying, and to be fair sits in with a lot of my injury rehabilitation & Fitworxs philosophies!

Back to massage! A relaxed muscle gives better range of movement, and less lack of range means less chance of over-stretching, therefore less chance of injury.

Very simple guys and gals!

Use massage every 6 weeks when not worrying about specific events, but when you are around event season, get on a little more often to keep injury free!
